Roczen kicks off 2017 season with victory in Anaheim

The 2017 Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, got underway to a sold out crowd of 45,050 fans on Saturday inside Angel Stadium in California.

Ken Roczen was part of the highest profile move during the off season and took an impressive win leading throughout the entirety of the 450SX Class Main Event. It was the Team Honda HRC man’s 10th Career win.

Both the Factory KTM's of Ryan Dungey and Marvin Musquin took 2nd and 3rd on the podium, with Jason Anderson and Eli Tomic rounding up the top 5.

In the Western Regional 250SX Class Main Event, Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM's Shane McElrath captured his first career win, also leading the entire race, with Aaron Plessinger and Martin Davalos completing the podium.
